This kit for one run of wire rope cable includes :

1 swage stud turnbuckle

1 swage stud (Right threads)

1 threaded sleeve

The fittings in this assembly kit need to be swaged with a cable crimper or a hand swager tool.

A cable railing should include 7 to 11 runs of cable, depending on the height of the posts.

The Nautica cable railing system – I – Metal post is suitable for both indoor and outdoor cable railing projects.

The Nautica cable railing system – I – Metal post is suitable for straight runs of wire rope cable or for corner projects, especially for stair cable railing.

Installation instructions

Installation Guide (Nautica Cable Railing System I - Metal post)

On the front side of your end posts, drill a 11/32’’ hole in diameter 

On the back side of your end posts, drill a 7/16'' hole in diameter

Install the turnbuckle

Install the swage stud/threaded sleeve

Insert the cable into the swage stud and swage. For long distance, swage 2 or 3 times. Make sure to rotate 180 degrees for each swage to ensure robustness.

Cut the cable by measuring the distance to the swage stud turnbuckle. Insert the cable into the swage stud and swage.

For tensioning, simply rotate the turnbuckle body.
