GauthierDeLaPlante is a Canadian manufacturer of cable railing systems. Our aluminum posts and handrails are manufactured in our production workshop located in Quebec City. Our quality products are durable and are designed to be easily installed. We guarantee our customers that our products are not cheap and low quality imports of foreign products. This is what sets us apart from other marketplaces and big box retailers.

How to choose your posts?

For a patio or terrace without stairs, you will only need straight posts (posts for straight sections - surface mounted). We have several posts in stock that can be delivered within 24 to 48 hours. A standard guardrail isn made up of three types of posts: End posts, Intermediate posts and Corner posts. These posts are available in two formats (1½’’ x 1½’’ posts and 2’’ x 2’’ posts, depending on the look and design that suits you best. They are also available in two heights (35‘’ and 41’’). Please note that straight posts – fascia mounted, stairs posts, and handrails are custom-made. Contact us for a quote.

Color and warranty

All our standard posts and handrails are painted (powder coat) matte black. For an additional $99,99 CAD, you can pick the color you want. We currently have 10 paint colors to choose from (see our Powder coat color chart). The polyester powder coating used is warranted by GAUTHIERDELAPLANTE for a period of one (1) year against corrosion, rust, tearing, blistering and cracks under certain conditions.
