Swageless threaded stud cable railing system II – Metal post

The Swageless threaded stud cable railing system II t is one of the easyest cable railing system to install. Parts of this kit are robusts with a modern look. It is ideal for installation in aluminum or steel posts This kit can tension cable over 20 feets.

Specifications

This kit for one run of wire rope includes :

• 2 Swageless threaded stud 
• 2 Threaded Fork Terminal
• 2 Threaded sleeves
• 2 Threaded eyebolts

A cable railing should include 7 to 11 runs of cable, depending on the height of the posts.

The Swageless threaded stud cable railing system– Metal post is suitable for both indoor and outdoor cable railing projects.

The Swageless threaded stud cable railing system II is suitable for straight runs of wire rope or for corner projects, especially for stair cable railing.

Installation instruction

On the front side of your end posts, drill a 11/32’’ hole in diameter 

On the back side of your end posts, drill a 7/16 hole in diameter 

Install the Threaded sleeve, the threaded eyebolt, the threaded fork terminal, and the swageless threaded stud, on each post 

Insert the cable into swageless threaded stud and screw firmly the two grub screws to tighten cable.

Cut the cable by measuring the distance to the other swageless threaded stud. Screw firmly the two grub screws to tighten cable. 

For tensioning, use a wrench to keep the swageless threaded studs in place and screw fully the threaded sleeves.
